How much water or how often do I need to water my lawn?

Water is a very important part of your lawn care treatments and vital to the health of your grass.

The goal is to provide your lawn with an inch of water a week.

We recommend a technique that delivers deeper penetration of water while preventing as much water run off as possible.  During the summer months, If you have a sprinkler system, set your system to water each lawn zone for 3 cycles.  Each cycle should last about 8 minutes long.  During the winter months, your lawn is dormant and does not require as much water.

When can families and pets return to serviced areas?

After a service, Green Lawn Fertilizing advises customers to allow the application to dry before families and pets resume enjoying their lawns.

Yes, the service continues year after year unless a customer advises us to discontinue. Customers find that continuing the lawn fertilizing and weed control from season to season and year to year is the best way to maintain the lawn up to their expectations.

How often should I mow my lawn?

Bermuda grass and zoysia grass should be kept to about 1-2 inches tall.  St Augustine grass should be kept at about 2-3 inches.  If your technician has any specific recommendations for your lawn height, he will inform you in your after care email.
